Job Summary

Job Summary

This position is located in the Communications and Family Engagement Department referred to as CAFE and serves as a member of the management team to support, coordinate, and execute the various areas of responsibility for the department including community outreach/partnerships, family engagement, student voices, afterschool/mentoring programs, marketing/branding, and special events. The candidate should be able to work on multiple projects at one time, take direction to learn and grow, provide unique ideas and input, and develop and execute plans using project management skills to ensure the work is completed in a timely manner and by the deadline. This is a team-oriented environment with events, meetings, and workshops that may occur outside traditional workday :schedule, so flexibility is a must. While it’s a team-oriented environment, the person should be able to work independently without constant supervision to move the work of the team forward. The person would report directly to the Executive Director of the department and work closely with the other management and support staff in the department, and staff in other departments and school sites, students, parents, and community members.

The CAFE Department covers Communications, Expanded Learning, Parent Engagement, Community Partnerships, Healthy Youth Act, and Youth Workforce.
