Del Norte High School is a comprehensive, four-year high school in the highly acclaimed Poway Unified School District. Located in North County region of San Diego, Del Norte athletic membership is with the North County Conference, Palomar League , one of the most competitive in San Diego. The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications: Must hold a valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential. Preferred experience as an Athletic Director at a comprehensive high school. 3 years of experience as a varsity high school coach, preferred with head coaching experience. A commitment to building an Athletic Department with character and supporting student-athletes success on and off the court. Will oversee the entire Athletic Department including year around off-season training, Athletic facilities, and managing athletic supervisions. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Team orientation is essential and experience building and supporting school culture, spirit, and pride. Knowledge and implementation of Athletic budgets, North County Conference Red Book rules, CIF Green Book rules, with the HUDL system.
