OVERVIEW: The Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Facilities Manager oversees, supervises, schedules and coordinates events held in performing arts centers (PACs) and related arts facilities at district schools; the manager facilitates and implements technical and production requirements and supervises assigned staff. <b>This VAPA Facilities Manager position will oversee the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts Centers.</b>

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to a business degree and four years of experience as a manager, director or supervisor in a performing arts center, theater or related enterprise, such as technical theater and theatrical design, preferably in a public school setting working directly with students. LICENSES AND REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver’s license.
