Job Summary

Clairemont High School has one full-time, 10-month, in-school resource teacher vacancy. The In-school Resource Teacher position is responsible for supporting the effective and systematic implementation of an Integrated Multi-Tiered System of Support (I-MTSS) at the school site. The resource teacher will be responsible for assisting in the development, facilitation, and monitoring the development of the schools infrastructure for the implementation of a comprehensive multi-tiered system of support by assisting in creating a system and structure that supports academic outcomes, socio-emotional competencies, and behavioral supports for all students (including students with disabilities and other student sub groups). Successful candidates will have a depth of understanding and experience working in an I-MTSS framework, utilizing programs, interventions and services that improve academic outcomes and build students skills needed for success. The resource teacher will collaborate with a variety of integrated team members to enhance the sphere of success for all students. Ideal candidates will have a depth of understanding on school culture and the importance of creating positive school environments for all students.

Requirements / Qualifications

Qualified applicants must have a valid California teaching credential. Applicant's credential must be attached to their application and registered with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing by the close of the posting. Applicants must have a valid California driver’s license and be prepared to conduct, participate in, and travel to sites, professional development sessions, workshops, and meetings.
