Priory seeks a School Nurse. The ideal candidate will have a BSN and at least 3-5 years experience of school nursing. Candidates must be a Registered Nurse in California. Successful candidates will: Exhibit passion for working with adolescents and their families; Demonstrated ability to provide culturally sensitive care for students and families. Understand and implement industry best practices when storing and distributing all student medication; Be able to provide first aid, health education, and emergency care for students, including those students living in the dorms; Demonstrate familiarity with Magnus and an ability to maintain health and immunization records; Work collaboratively with the student support team to best serve the individual needs of all students; Monitor current public health issues and trends; Take advantage of opportunities for professional growth, leadership, and community building; Have strong organization and communication skills.
