Job Summary
The Technology Integration Support Specialist supports teachers and administrators in both informal and formal coaching cycles around instructional practice, specifically in integrating technology into the implementation of required state academic standards, Board-adopted curricula, and student performance assessments. TISS also provides support and education about educational technology to parents/guardians to support remote learning.
Requirements / Qualifications
Deep familiarity with educational technology standards and proficiencies Demonstrated expertise in educational technology Ability to function as a lead learner for other adult learners Experience with and passion for integrating technology with instruction Experience with and knowledge of established and emerging teaching and learning apps/web apps/platforms. Experience with G-Suite Apps in an educational setting Experience with one-to-one device deployments Experience working with adults in a one-to-one environment Cultural proficiency; ability to engage in conversations/actions with all cultures
Valid State Driver's License; Current proof of freedom from TB Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and college level coursework in computer science or a related field. Two years experience in the field of information technology.
