TESTING
Applicants that MEET the Minimum Requirements and did not submit a copy of SCOE Para Educator Proficiency Test or equivalent will receive an e-mail invitation to attend testing.
PROGRAM INFO
Focus on development of independent life skills, self help, functional academics, communication, and positive social interactions for students between 5 and 22 years of age with moderate to severe cognitive, behavioral, and physical disabilities.

*Para Educator Severe Application *Some experience in working with children or individuals with disabilities *copy of SCOE Para Educator Proficiency Test certificate OR one of the following: SCOE ESSA test certificate, CBEST, or transcripts showing date AA Degree or higher was awarded Must be at least 18 years of age. The following are NOT required at the time of application but will be required if offered employment: *Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance *Tuberculosis Clearance *Physical/Drug Screen clearance

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and some experience in working with children or individuals with disabilities. BENEFITS: A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day. The amount of the entitlement is based on the number of hours worked per day. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We do not refer to your resume when screening.
