Student Services Technician III (Degree Audit Evaluator) A Full-Time Classified Administrator Position Review Date: August 5, 2022 CLA21-443 Job Link: https://bit.ly/3O736OP The Santa Clarita Community College District/College of the Canyons is seeking a full-time Student Services Technician II (Degree Audit Evaluator) in the Admissions and Records office. The Santa Clarita Community District is committed to achieving educational equity for all students. As presented in our District Strategic Plan, which focuses on Access, Engagement, and Success, “Equity, inclusion, and diversity are not goals in themselves, but ideologies embedded in all actions and planning across all departments and functions of our college and its two campuses. College of the Canyons is part of the Santa Clarita Community College District and is designated as a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI), enrolling approximately 32,000 students each academic year. "BIG PICTURE" RESPONSIBILITY: Under the supervision of the Associate Dean, Admissions, Records, and Veteran Services evaluates incoming academic transcripts for equivalent College of the Canyons degree requirement completion, and enters appropriate transfer equivalencies into the degree audit computer system.

Builds individual student prerequisite history. Ensures functionality of online degree audit system. Performs institutional credit evaluation for CSU and UC lower division general education certification. Assists other areas with graduation and transcript evaluation. Performs other related duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Two years full-time equivalent experience working in community colleges, universities, high schools, and/or community agencies. Education: Education equivalent to an Associate’s degree (60 verifiable semester units) from an accredited college or university. Two years direct full-time experience in addition to that identified above may be substituted for each year (30 units) of college.
