Our Special Education department is rapidly growing, and we currently have an opening servicing students in the San Diego/Vista areas. This position qualifies for full health and wellness benefits, training and professional development and CalSTRS retirement. Qualified applicants will provide: 1) remedial services to students with language, speech and/or hearing disabilities within the directives of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). 2) pertinent information and consultant services to staff members and parents. 3) on-going student assessment and evaluation. 4) on-going planning with regular classroom teachers and also promotes and supports the school Student Study Team. 5) on-going support for the RTI process at the school.
