Minimum Qualifications Education Requirement: Sufficient education to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above. Experience Requirement: One (1) year of recent full-time paid janitorial or custodial experience. Education/Experience Equivalency: Experience and/or education of the same kind, level or amount as required in the minimum qualifications may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. Licensure and/or Certification: A valid driver license.

WELCOME TO SANTA MONICA COLLEGE! An Eligibility List is currently being established to fill Custodian vacancies in the Operations Department.
Under general supervision, positions in this classification perform professional custodial services and maintenance of District facilities. Incumbents perform routine and specialized cleaning and sanitation duties. The positions are 40 hours per week, 12 months per year. The department operates multiple shifts. This list will also be utilized to fill any vacancies that may occur during the one year life of the Eligibility List, which may include permanent and temporary positions.
