Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the site administrator, assigned behavior specialist, and Director of Special Education, the behavior Intervention supervisor assists the classroom team in providing clinical skills, instruction and behavior reduction protocols based on the program design and student’s behavior intervention plan or Individual Education Plan (IEP). The behavior intervention supervisor will administer basic and advanced behavior techniques to students with significant needs, providing direct student contact and record-keeping tasks to address the student's special education needs. The position serves as a support for the district at various sites depending on student needs.

Requirements / Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree preferred in the area of psychology, education, social work, counseling, mental health, or related area. - At least three years of successful experience working in a school or private setting with students with special or behavioral needs. - Requires use of a personal automobile, possession of a valid California Class Driver’s License, and proof of current and appropriate auto insurance coverage.

Required Documents: Letter of Intent Three (3) letters of recommendation Resume Copy of B.A. or B.S. Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Education, Mental Health or related fields.
