Job Summary
School Social Worker Long Beach Unified School District is the fourth largest district in the State of California, serving a diverse student population. The Middle/High School Wellness Center School Social Worker (SSW) works to promote academic achievement and lifelong success for students by facilitating social, emotional and behavioral health-related support to students in an assigned LBUSD middle school. The SSW will be responsible for the implementation of the district Middle/High School Center framework and working with students, faculty and community to create an engaging center that provides a myriad of services for students.
Requirements / Qualifications
Requirements: *Hold Master’s Degree or higher (MSW) in Social Work or related field (LCSW highly desirable) *Hold and maintain a valid Pupil Personnel Services Credential - School Social Worker
