Comments and Other Information
Are you an out-of-the-box thinking Substitute who likes to engage students? Springs Charter Schools is seeking creative substitute teachers for our site in Santa Ana. Our schools offer parents a choice between traditional homeschool environment for their children or a 2-5 day "blended" model which integrates traditional classroom instruction with home study.
Using Frontline (formerly AESOP), "Sub" assignments are assigned as they become available and vary in responsibility, location and length of assignment from one to several day(s) or a long-term assignment. Although there is no guarantee of work, the more school sites you are willing to travel to (when Covid guidelines allow for onsite teaching), the more job opportunities and working hours may be presented. We have additional locations in Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego Counties.
This is a great way to get your foot in the door with Springs with possibilities for full time teaching opportunities with appropriate credentials or as a Teacher's Aide. See job description to review the duties and responsibilities and be a Substitute with Springs Charter Schools, the largest charter school in California.
Notes:
* For candidates holding a 30 day sub permit, the CTC has granted the permit be extended to 60 days for the 2022-2023 school year. May change based on the State.
* Springs Charter Schools adheres to all California Department of Public Health mandates to ensure in-person instruction at campuses and administrative operations are conducted in a safe manner consistent with state and local public health guidance.
* Upon hire, candidate(s) must submit a copy of their vaccination or agree to free weekly paid COVID testing at any of our site locations.
* Springs Charter Schools reserves the right to close this position at any time.
