Manager I for Prevention and Intervention is accountable for improving student achievement through the effective management of assigned area(s); provide support in the development of educational appropriate systems to increase graduation rates and decrease suspensions, transfers, expulsions and drop-outs in support of preparing career ready graduates; plan, coordinate and implement academic and fiscal oversight of district-approved charter schools providing students access to high quality learning options; support School Site Leaders by providing training to instructional staff in the implementation of effective prevention/intervention services to ensure students stay in school on target to graduate. Requirements: Any combination equivalent to: bachelor's degree and three years experience relating to school attendance and implementation of discipline policies and or school administrative experience. Valid Administrative Services Credential. Valid California driver's license. The Manager I will : * Support the design and implementation of Tier I Climate and Culture practices such as positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, Social Emotional Learning, and Restorative Practice aligned to Fresno Unified's' Multi-Tiered System of Support * Focus on increasing and maintaining implementation of evidenced-based Tier I practices across the system * Assist with creating systems to support site leaders and Climate & Culture Teams with implementation * Be responsible for delivering professional learning to stakeholders across the district * Support site leaders with the implementation of district discipline guidelines * Supervise and evaluate a group of teachers who support sites with implementing Tier I practices
