Requirements / Qualifications

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Under the direction of a senior-level district administrator, handles complex technical and responsible secretarial duties; organizes and coordinates office activities; prepares meeting minutes; handles Collective Bargaining material and maintains confidentiality; prepares correspondence (independently and with oral directions); prepares Board meeting agenda items; performs a variety of duties independently in support of functions delegated to the assigned administrator; makes routine administrative decisions based upon existing administrative guidelines, District policy, Education Code or general instructions; performs other related duties as required or assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination equivalent to: (1) graduation from high school; including or supplemented by course work in secretarial science; and (2) four years of recent responsible secretarial experience; including one year as secretary to a high level administrator or manager.
