Atascadero Unified School District 5601 West Mall, Atascadero, CA 93422 DATE: November 9, 2022 POSITIONS: SPECIAL NEEDS CLASSROOM ASSISTANT (SNCA) ~Site location to be Determined~ SALARY: Range 20 (Step B - $16.30 to Step G - $20.81) • Placement on the salary schedule depends on experience in this area Eligible for various pro-rated health, dental and vision insurance benefits. Sick Leave, Vacation Pay, 11 paid holidays & CalPERS Retirement.. HOURS: Monday through Friday - 6.5 hours per work day 195 days (184 work days + 11 paid holidays) QUALIFICATIONS: Complete job description available at the District Office or online. -One year in any combination of trainings, education, and experience with students who are severely handicapped and/or emotionally disturbed and/or have behavioral needs. -Must pass professional aide test with 70% accuracy or be NCLB Compliant with 48 college semester units -Bilingual Desirable -Must pass DOJ Fingerprint Clearance -TB Clearance required prior to working -Valid California Driver License -Current CPR/First Aid Certificate DEADLINE: If interested, please complete a District Application, Letter of Interest, and Resume and turn into the Human Resources Office (kristysanchez@atasusd.org).
