Freshwater Elementary School is seeking excellent candidates for an Upper Grade Teaching position. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about teaching and is willing to work as a team player with an incredible staff on a beautiful campus. The successful candidate will actively engage students in the learning process, nurturing analytical thinking and a life-long love of learning. The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated interest in working collaboratively with colleagues, educational technology, and a thorough understanding of the Common Core Standards in both Mathematics and English Language Arts.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications: CA Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential for a self-contained classroom. Cross-cultural, language, & academic development emphasis. (CLAD certified) Ability to teach combination classrooms desired. Knowledge of current curriculum offerings. Knowledge of computer technology. The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
