The Opportunity: The Behavioral Interventionist (BI) is an entry level career track position with opportunities for advancement. BIs work with students with autism and related disorders ages 5 to 22-years-old. The BI is part of a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to providing integrative educational care that gives students the opportunity to lead meaningful lives by eliminating or replacing disruptive, harmful, or negative behaviors and teaching them socially positive behaviors while supporting academic progress.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma is required; Associates of Arts Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience in classroom and / or behavior management is highly preferred.
Physical Requirements
Work is performed under normal office or classroom conditions, but there are some minimal environmental risks or disagreeable conditions associated with the work.
Employees must be physically and mentally able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation and without being a danger to themselves or others. Must meet all Pro-ACT standards and safety requirements (light duty is not available).
