Minimum Qualifications • Masters degree in educational administration • Valid California Administrative Services Credential • Valid California Teaching Credential • Five (5) years teaching experience • Experience in overseeing professional learning and technical assistance serving diverse student populations. • Coaching and Administrative experience, including site level administration • Possession of a valid California driver's license

DESCRIPTION OF BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Under the direction of the Director of Instructional Services, provides leadership, coordination, and direct services for planning, implementing and evaluating the District’s elementary and secondary education programs. Responsible for overall coordination of the District’s curriculum and instruction and programs for students. SUPERVISOR: Director of Instructional Services TYPICAL DUTIES: • Develops, maintains and evaluates the delivery of research-based, data-driven curriculum development and instructional practices that support models for diverse student populations. • Developing, implementing and evaluating the curriculum offered by the District’s schools. • Developing, conducting, and evaluating certificated staff development programs in the District and at school sites. • Preparing and submitting reports on curricular programs and staff development. • Assist in the compilation, interpretation, and reporting of evaluation data on projects, activities, and programs within the Education Services division. • Monitor district library policies and priorities, K-12; Music Programs and Physical Education programs, K-8. Supervise the Coordinator of Library Services and teacher program leads. • Supervise and monitor Drug, Alcohol, Tobacco Use Prevention Education activities and development, allocation, and monitoring of that budget. • Coordinate and articulate Lincoln Unified Gifted and Talented Education program • Facilitate the review and implementation of curriculum and materials for adoption • Responsible for coordinated orders and distribution of Instructional Materials Funds • Inspect the instructional programs and support services through regular visits to schools and dialogue with principals, teachers, students, parents and community members • Leads staff in maintaining current knowledge of curriculum innovation, best practices, and development in technology-based instructional strategies. • Leads staff in using multiple data sources and predictive analytics to guide services for schools • Review data and plan action strategies that utilize scientifically-based research on reading and mathematics strategies that address both current and future instructional needs. • Perform related duties as assigned Ability to: • Interpret and apply district policies and regulations, state laws and rules, education codes and government codes • Collect and analyze data from a variety of sources, evaluate and make program recommendations • Provide effective training and curricular development of certificated and classified staff • Prepare and present oral and written reports • Make effective public presentations of program information • Physical capability sufficient to perform job duties To be considered for hire, candidates must meet the minimum requirements including a successful interview and successful reference checks.
