DCP was the first charter school in Silicon Valley and currently operates one high school and two middle schools in San Jose, CA. DCP currently serves students in grades 5-12. Downtown College Prep was founded with the belief that all students, regardless of background and prior academic achievement, can and should be prepared for college success. Do you have a passion for social justice through educational attainment? Consider DCP's Operating Principles and join our team: STUDENTS FIRST - We believe in every student’s capacity to succeed and stay focused by asking “What’s best for kids?” PASSION - We take steps to see this work as more than a job by pushing ourselves to learn and improve. TRUST - We take risks to be vulnerable, authentic and empathetic while assuming best intentions. SERVICE - We support one another, maintain perspective through challenges and seek ways to be helpful. OPTIMISM - We show gratitude by celebrating the small and big wins, and maintaining a vision of success.
