Applications from applicants who are currently in a credentialing program and are intended to graduate and receive their teaching credential upon graduation in the months of May, June or July are accepted but must be accompanied by a letter from the applicant's university on official letterhead indicating that the candidate is in fact on board to graduate from the credentialing program, with an anticipated effective date for when the applicant will be recommended to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing by the university for the Single Subject Credential
