Job Summary

Job Summary

Valley Oak Charter is currently seeking a part time elementary supervising teacher for 3rd-8th grade. VOC is a home-based independent study program. As a public charter school, Valley Oak is free of charge and welcomes students grades K-12 regardless of race or religious affiliation.

Requirements / Qualifications

Professional Development:

  • Attend conferences/workshops as requested/funded
  • Maintain classroom and supplies in a professional manner
  • Maintain credentials and take additional class-work as required by State and in area of alternative/progressive education
  • Demonstrate professionalism in addressing concerns/grievances

  • Administrative:
  • Review and approve weekly Work Records in area of HQT status
  • Assist and support administrative needs of school
