Requirements / Qualifications

Pursuant to the State Public Health Officer Order of August 11, 2021 affecting all tk-12 public and private school employees, all El Dorado County Office of Education employees and substitutes are required to either provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination or participate in weekly COVID-19 testing. This position will work directly with the administration, instructional, and classified staff.

Job duties will include, but are not limited to: • Student outreach via phone, zoom, and on-site when applicable. • Student supervision. • Food distribution. • PPE inventory. (if applicable) • Classroom support as needed. • Participate in student wellness activities under the supervision of administration and mental health clinician. • Work directly with site staff. • Work with administration and classified staff to support at-risk youth, i.e. Foster, McKinney-Vento, Homeless • Attend trainings to support the position and broaden knowledge base. Key characteristics we are looking for: • Ability to quickly form positive relationships with students, parents, and staff • Ability to organize and maintain school records accurately and efficiently • Ability to multi-task between working with records and interaction with students, staff, and parents • Ability to prioritize and take initiative • Knowledge of Google Docs preferred This position is located at the Charles Brown Education Center, located at 6520 Oak Dell Rd, El Dorado CA 95623.
