Requirements / Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications: -Varsity head coaching experience in Swim or knowledge of coaching Swim. -Experience and understanding of the budget and fiscal responsibilities of a varsity coaching position. -Demonstrated ability to mentor the six core ethical values of “Pursuing Victory with Honor” (trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and good citizenship). -Effective leadership skills. Ability to: -Teach fundamental, physical and mental skills needed in the sport of Swim. -Build positive relationships and mentor the coaching staff in an effort to sustain a successful program -Promote academic excellence within the entire Swim program. -Build positive relationships with staff, students, parents, media, and community members. -Foster a desire to promote school spirit and a positive school climate. -Organize the acquisition and inventory of uniforms, equipment, and supplies for the entire Swim program. -Work cooperatively with the Athletic Director and Site Administration.
