Requirements / Qualifications
Intern must be enrolled in a graduate level School Psychologist program and hold a valid California Internship Credential with a School Psychologist authorization (PPS) or a letter from your college or university indicating eligibility for Internship in lieu of a credential.
A virtual assessment will be administered as part of the selection process. Must upload the required documents - upload the attachment named exactly as stated (i.e., Letter of Recommendation) or your application will not move forward in the selection process.

At Springs Charter Schools, we are serious about creating significantly better learning opportunities than are available within the traditional public school system. We have a School Psychologist Internship opening and are looking for a candidate who is in the last year of their PPS credential program.
Under the direction of the Director Coordinated Mental Health Services and School Psychologist Lead, the Intern will utilize a variety of methods in order to evaluate educational performance, including but not limited to social/emotional functioning, behavioral, processing, and cognition. The Intern will work collaboratively with colleagues in the special education department as well as those professionals at their designated sites in order that she/he may serve as an additional resource pertaining to students, including but not limited to behavior management, learning strategies, welfare, attendance problems, as well as to do other related functions as directed. * Mileage will be reimbursed for travel between multiple locations.
