Job Summary
Under the direction of the Administrator in the Instructional Services division, manages and supervises all aspects of the operations of the Department of Equity and Inclusion. Coordinates, facilitates, provides and evaluates professional development for educational administrators, teachers, and instructional support personnel, including workshops, institutes and technology-based training opportunities. Plans and implements professional growth opportunities for department staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about current research and best practices in equity and inclusion. Prepares budgets, reports, contracts, and agreements for service. Creates networking opportunities for educators. This position is located in Bakersfield, CA.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education: • Administrative Services Credential required. • Master’s or doctorate degree required. Experience: • Successful experience as a classroom teacher. • Successful administrative experience. • Successful experience in developing, implementing and evaluating instructional programs. • Successful experience providing professional learning. Must possess a private vehicle, valid California driver’s license and carry current automobile insurance with at least minimum coverage for public liability and property damage. Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.
