OVERVIEW: RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general supervision, to assist the Registration Services Supervisor preparing reports, conducting data analysis, and creating procedures; to design spreadsheets and databases; and to perform registration and enrollment procedures. Specific duties include being able to: • collect and analyze registration and enrollment data for Registration Services Department and district administration; • design spreadsheets, Word documents, PDF forms, and databases; • assist in the development and updating of enrollment procedures used by the department and school personnel; • interact with the public both in-person and on the telephone to answer questions and explain procedures; • process records and transcripts; • make decisions guided by established policies and procedures; • gather, reconcile, and disseminate information to appropriate schools and district personnel; • maintain strict security of confidential information; • perform related duties as assigned. Essential Skills Include these Abilities: • excellent organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and ability to meet schedules and timelines; • keyboard at a rate of 50 words per minute from ordinary transcript of printed material; • fully competent use of computers, printers and office equipment; • apply district rules and policies related to student registration and enrollment; • excellent communication skills when interacting with the public orally and in writing; • perform clerical duties associated with creating and maintaining accurate district reports and files; • work effectively with occasional noise and interruptions; • establish and maintain effective, cooperative, and professional working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; • apply sound judgment in identifying and resolving problems;
