Please attach electronically to your Edjoin application: Valid California credential authorizing multiple subjects at elementary grade levels Needs one of the following before August 1, 2023: 1. At least 24 units in early childhood education, or childhood development, or both 2. Professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children comparable to the 24 units of education described in bullet 1 (comparability determined by the local employing agency) 3.Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing Also required: English Learner Compliance 3 Recent Letters of Recommendation (within one year) Resume Letter of Introduction

A few additional facts we would like you to know about our district: 1. Prep period and Study Hall are built into the junior high and high school master schedules for every teacher. Elementary teachers have built-in prep time, too. 2. All mild-moderate Special Education teachers work within the general education setting to support students with disabilities through push-in, pull-out, and co-teaching. 3. The District will pay for your two year induction program and provide you with a mentor. The ACUSD allows year for year experience credit when placing employees on the salary schedule. Experience must be fulltime, contracted work & over 75% of school year to qualify. Full time employees are required to enroll in a benefits package as part of total compensation (see www.amadorcoe.org website, Department, Business, then Benefits for plan details and rates). Current clear TB Test and DOJ fingerprinting at Amador County Unified School District for the hired candidate will be required.
