Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION INCLUDE: • Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and three years of general clerical experience. • Knowledge of policies and objectives of assigned program and activities. • Knowledge of modern office practices, and procedures and equipment. • Knowledge of operation of a computer terminal and data entry, and record-keeping techniques. • Knowledge of correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary. •Knowledge of Interpersonal skills using, tact, patience and courtesy. • Ability to perform a variety of secretarial duties requiring specialized knowledge and independent judgement of assigned program. • Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports. • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. • Ability to compose correspondence independently. • Ability to operate a computer and a variety of office equipment. • Ability to meet and prioritize schedules and timelines. • Type at a corrected rate of 50 words per minute. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Employees interested in a lateral transfer, please submit a Request to Transfer form to seramirez@aesd.org before the closing date and time.
