About the Employer

White Learning Center serves our students in grades TK-2. ** Castle Rock Elementary School serves our students in grades 3-5. ** Woodlake Valley Middle School serves our students in grades 6-8. ** Woodlake High School serves grades 9-12 students, and the Three Rivers and Seville students join the district. ** Bravo Lake also serves students in grades 9-12 who need an alternative setting. ** Woodlake Community Day School serves students in grades 7-12.

Job Summary
The job of “Teacher-Elementary” is done for the purpose/s of facilitating student success in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing District approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Valid California Multiple Subject Credential • Edjoin Application • Letter of Introduction • Resume • Test Scores (CBEST, CSET, RICA) • 3 Letters of Recommendation • Copy of Required Credential(s) • Official transcripts including post grad units
• Strong early literacy background and understanding of teaching reading to primary age children. • Expertise in guided reading strategies. • Willing to work in a collaborative environment with support from staff and administration. • Willingness to learn and use new instructional practices.
