One letter of support MUST be from a current or previous supervisor. The FUSD Letter of Support form resembles a questionnaire form. The FUSD online application provides instructions on how to send the Letter of Support form to your contact person. Please use this mandatory form. A copy of your credential is necessary when the position requires one. Applicants are responsible for attaching their own documents. Letters of Support are valid for two (2) years. Failure to update your Letters of Support will prevent you from moving forward in the hiring process.

The School Counselor will provide services in the following actions: *Plan and facilitate or co-facilitate high-level Tier III restorative processes for specific first-time misdemeanor crimes* committed on secondary campuses implementing restorative practices. *Services include assessment, home visits, family group conferencing, Tier III mediation or restorative conferencing and follow-up services. *Support site-based Secondary Restorative Practices School Counselors on high-level responses. *Partner closely with School Resources Officers and Probation Officers. (*Appropriate cases are voluntarily agreed to by students, are non-gang related and fall in one of four categories: Fighting/Disturbing the Peace, Mutual Battery, Theft, or Receiving Stolen Property.) Requirements: Any combination equivalent to: bachelor's degree and successful experience teaching, counseling, or providing related services to young people. Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in Counseling required.
