Employee Training Institute (ETI) Program Technician A Full-Time Classified Represented Position Review Date: June 27, 2022 CLA21-435 Job Link: https://bit.ly/39cavxI The Santa Clarita Community College District/College of the Canyons is seeking a full-time Employee Training Institute (ETI) Program in the Division of Workforce and Economic Advancement. "BIG PICTURE" RESPONSIBILITY: Under the direction of the Executive Director, Employee Training Institute, the ETI Program Technician performs a wide variety of complex, specialized, data-entry, administrative, recordkeeping, clerical, and accounting functions, many of which are of a confidential nature.
Assists with the planning, organizing, analyzing, implementing and evaluating of state Employment Training Panel (ETP) funded training and other state, federal, and employer paid training programs and events. Assists with implementation and evaluation of programs, policies and services, which include operational management, marketing, customer service, billing, and accounting. Performs other related duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Minimum two years database management, recordkeeping, and working with the public in an office environment working with a large and varied clientele. Experience organizing, maintaining, editing, and updating a cloud-based database, including experience with a management information system or database system such as ETP’s Cal-E-Force is desirable. Education: Education equivalent to an Associate’s degree (60 semester units) from an accredited institution is required. Two years direct experience in addition to that identified above may be substituted for each year (30 units) of college. Course work in database management, business office organization or related subject is desirable.
