Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Pupil Services, the District Nurse conducts medical screenings; refers students for medical attention; provides emergency medical treatment; maintains all student health records; and performs related work as required.

Requirements / Qualifications

Qualifications: Education/Experience: 1. Associate of Science degree in registered nursing (RN). 2. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Required Licenses/Certificates: 1. Current Standard Red Cross First Aid Certificate. 2. Current CPR certificate. 3. CPR and First Aid Instructor Certificates. 4. Certificate allowing service in the public school system. 5. Valid California driver's license Requirements / Qualifications • Copy of Appropriate Credential • Resume/Summary of Experience • Transcripts Salary for summer school is as follows: Daily Rate of Pay: From $296.24 (Intern) to $539.02 prorated for partial contracts Years of service while working with a valid CA credential will be used for salary placement. Years of service will require verification of previous employment, 75% of the instructional work year under contract verified by official transcripts. PLEASE NOTE: EMPLOYMENT IS SUBJECT TO SUFFICIENT STUDENT ENROLLMENT Summer school dates and information: Dates: June 13, 2022 – July 13, 2022, Monday through Friday Time: 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, 30-minute duty-free lunch Teacher Professional Learning day: June 9, 2022 Teacher Prep Day: June 10, 2022 Students attend: June 13, 2022 – July 13, 2022 Student Instruction 8 am – 2 pm
