Requirements / Qualifications

1. A completed EDJOIN classified application 2. Copy of HS diploma or transcripts showing graduation or equivalent, or GED Certificate, or copy of TRANSCRIPTS verifying high school graduation. 3. Certificate of Keyboarding/Typing of 50 WPM or more 4. Copy of transcripts or certificate showing completed coursework in typing, bookkeeping, and general office practices.

Certificate of Keyboarding/Typing of 50 WPM or more must include the following: 1. Name of Organization administering the exam 2. Your Name, first and last 3. Date exam was taken (within the past 12 months) 4. *One (1) year of responsible experience in clerical work with some experience in financial or statistical record keeping activities is mandatory for this position. Prior to employment, all applicants are subject to a fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ) and a fee for processing. Authorization of employment will not be granted until the fingerprint clearance from DOJ has been accepted. CURRENT EMPLOYEES SHALL REMAIN IN A POSITION FOR AT LEAST ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE BEGINNING DATE OF AN INITIAL PROBATION OR PROMOTIONAL PROBATIONARY PERIOD (PER CONTRACT, ARTICLE 15).
