Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent – Educational Services, the Preschool Program Director / Community Connections Coordinator administers, develops, implements, monitors, evaluates and reports on the California State Preschool, full cost childcare, Child and Adult Care Food (CACFP), Resource and Referral, Child Care Training, Alternative Payment, and any other Community Connections Programs. General duties include coordination of communications, provision of resources and information to meet needs and assure smooth and efficient program activities, including coaching and evaluation of program staff. Ensure programs provide and maintain efficient and quality service and meet all CDE, CSPP and other funding terms and conditions, and meet all Community Care Licensing or applicable local, state and federal laws.

Requirements / Qualifications

-B.A. or B.S. degree or higher -Currently hold or be eligible to obtain a State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing Child Development Program Director Permit, or meet alternative requirements -Ability to plan, direct, delegate, evaluate and supervise the work of others -Thorough understanding of contract compliance, budgeting and reporting
