Job Summary
The job of Custodian is done for the purpose/s of supporting the educational process by providing custodial services at assigned site; performing light maintenance of the site/school plant and related facilities; ensuring an attractive, sanitary and safe environment for students, staff and visitors. Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Some custodial or related experience is desired. Relevant experience, education, certificates and or licenses may be substituted. Requires a valid driver’s license. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE MUST BE LISTED ON THE APPLICATION WITH DATES OF EMPLOYMENT, JOB TITLE AND JOB DUTIES.
SELECTION PROCESS: The selection process will include screening to ensure application and supplemental survey is complete and the applicant meets minimum qualifications. Qualified candidates will be invited to participate in a performance evaluation scheduled for June 22nd & 23rd, 2022. A passing score of 70% or higher is needed to be placed on the eligibility list. An eligibility list will be established and the top three ranks of candidates will receive an interview for the first vacancy. Candidates will remain on the list for one year and additional interviews will be conducted in rank order as vacancies occur.
