Requirements / Qualifications
Requirements for Applying Education, Training, and Experience • Technology certification or AA/AS degree in computer sciences, management information systems or equivalent or eight years of experience in computer operations, web development, database development/management, operations and/or maintenance. • Knowledge of Windows and Apple server administration (incl. services as Group Policies, DNS and DHCP). • Advanced knowledge in supporting Windows, Mac OS, iOS and Chrome based devices. • Possession of a valid California driver’s license. Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for coverage under the District’s liability insurance carrier. Qualifications Desired • In depth knowledge of maintaining, troubleshooting and optimizing WAN, LAN, and WLAN networking infrastructure. • Knowledge of web content filtering technologies and configuration best practices. • Familiarity with school regulations, such as FERPA and CIPA. • Experience with educational staff needs and needs of students. Documents/Materials • Transcripts: AA/AS Degree, High School Diploma or equivalent if no college degree. • Letter of Introduction • Resume • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation: must be signed by hand and dated within 1 year of closing date of position.
