JOB TITLE: Transportation Aide, Classified Employee DEADLINE: Until position is filled LOCATION: Loyalton Elementary School/Loyalton High School, Loyalton, CA Sierra County Office of Education SALARY: $17.11 per hour beginning wage ASSIGNMENT: Immediate start Part-time, 2 hours daily; per 2026-2027 School Calendar; 7AM-8AM/3PM-4PM DESCRIPTION: Transportation Aide will ride with students on school bus AM / PM Routes MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Follow oral and written directions; Effectively communicate with students, staff and parents; Read and write at a level necessary to perform the requirements of the job; Maintain order among students being transported; Work confidentially and with discretion; Maintain accurate records and files. Complete required medical courses, CPR and First Aide Certification. A Department of Justice and FBI background check, tuberculin test clearance required.
