Requirements / Qualifications
A very rewarding career working directly with students in a small-group setting. Daily collaboration with a supportive staff and numerous opportunities for professional growth. This position is located in Minden, Nevada. Under the supervision of the Principal, with direct support of the on-site lead teachers, provides instructional services to students related to applied curriculum. Emphasize a hands-on and skills approach that supports the vocational programs. Independently delivers classroom instruction in non-core curricular areas.
Job Requirements - Qualifications: - Education: High school diploma or the equivalent, and two years of college (48 units), or A.A. degree (or higher), or pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction. - Experience: Experience in settings that may be transferable to successful teaching and demonstrated success in working with at risk students. Three years of experience as a Classroom Specialist I or equivalent preferred. To be considered, the following documents must accompany a complete application:
