About the Employer
Modesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district, serving approximately 30,000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County, with over 3,200 employees. It is divided into three divisions: Business Services, Educational Services and Human Resources. An Associate Superintendent oversees each division and a variety of programs, such as Early Childhood Education, Child Welfare & Attendance, Special Education, Nutrition Services and Transportation. Modesto City Schools also offers an Induction Program with a state approved curriculum by which new teachers attain their Professional Clear Credential. Requirements / Qualifications
Letter of Recommendation. High Schools Transcripts (High School transcripts must reflect a grade of "C" or better in both Algebra and Senior Year English) or Paraprofessional Assessment Results.
**New hire employees are required to enroll in medical coverage with Modesto City Schools, unless the employee is able to provide proof of other group coverage (i.e., coverage through spouse’s employer, etc.). If you have any questions regarding benefits, please email MCS-Benefits@mcs4kids.com.
