Yuba City Charter School is seeking an Agriculture Teacher to launch a new agriculture program. Classes are set up in a small, but growing K-12 school. The position will require the teacher to start an FFA program. Current classes include 8th grade Earth Science, 9th grade Ag Physical Science, 10th grade Ag Biology, High School Ag Physics, and 2 high school electives to be determined. The administration is excited to start the new program and one administrator is a credentialed Agriculture Instructor. The school offers 100% paid basic insurance benefits package, pays full BTSA fees for geginning teachers, and is part of the State Teachers Retirement System.
Requirements / Qualifications
Any Agriculture credential is preferred for this position. Any combination of single subject science credentials will be considered.
