St. Martin of Tours School is seeking to recruit a dedicated and passionate elementary teacher. SMT is committed to providing students with a rigorous Catholic education that embraces the whole child. We seek teachers who have a strong academic background, enthusiasm for sharing their faith with young people, and a talent for engaging and helping students to grow in the classroom. Ideal candidates should: desire to grow in faith and knowledge among a community of lifelong learners; have experience as educators, ideally in a Catholic school setting; &bull; primary educators of their children. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:<br /> - Candidates must have at least a Bachelors degree in a related subject. Advanced degrees and an appropriate California teaching certification are preferred.<br /> PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to sit, walk, stand and climb stairs, alternating as needed and sometimes for prolonged periods of time.
