As the Talent Acquisition Associate, you will join the talent team in supporting and executing Alpha’s talent acquisition plan, using data to help improve the hiring and selection process along the way. You will identify and select exemplary candidates to join Alpha’s growing staff. We are seeking passionate individuals who embody Alpha’s mission, vision and core beliefs: leaders who believe that all students can learn, that our scholars belong in college, and that student growth is a reflection of the teacher’s practice. We are looking for leaders who are reflective in their practice and are willing to engage in conversations around educational equity and inclusivity. What you’ll do… Employ a proactive recruitment approach for all open positions Identify, cultivate and influence top candidates to work with Alpha through the promotion of Alpha’s culture, Leadership Principles and values Leverage social media, networking events, and other resources to source prospective candidates Use Alpha’s applicant tracking system (ATS) with fidelity to ensure all information is updated and current, providing user support as needed Review resumes and applications to determine which candidates move forward in the interview process Conduct initial phone screens to understand candidate’s fit with Alpha Public Schools and assess the candidate’s match with open positions Ensure Alpha’s job opportunities are posted on all priority job boards Select and attend recruitment events such as career fairs and networking events, and proactively seek out other network-building opportunities Partner with the Associate
