Upper School STEAM Teaching Assistant (TA) 50% FTE (with the possibility of additional duties to increase the %FTE, depending on applicant’s skills + school needs) starting August 10, 2022 We seek a team member who is a(n): talented, student-centered + inspiring educator scientist or engineer who loves guiding students to explore the connections between science, engineering + technology inquiry-based classroom teacher innovator in a 1:1 iPad learning environment culturally competent, engaged community member excellent communicator + collaborator compassionate guide for the middle school years stand-up comedian…or at least has a good sense of humor The Work Assist Upper School Head Teachers with integrated Science, Engineering + Technology classes Assist in differentiating student learning Help set up + clean up lab materials Work with the Head Teachers to develop curriculum + assess student work Depending on the material + comfort level, the TA may teach a specific class or section as either a co-lead or solo teacher Support Middle School program + student activities as needed If you are ready to join us, send a single document with your letter of interest, resume + 3 references to: jobs@sfschool.org
