The Upward Bound School Inc. is a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization operating a certified Nonpublic Agency (NPA) and Nonpublic School (NPS). Through our divisions, K12 Special Education Services and IDEAL Development of Education Academy, we partner with school districts and SELPAs throughout California to provide high-quality special education services. We are seeking dependable, compassionate, responsible, and flexible Virtual Paraprofessionals (Instructional Assistants) to provide instructional and behavioral support to students with diverse learning needs in a virtual learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with special needs, strong communication skills, and the ability to provide individualized support while collaborating with teachers, parents, and educational teams. Position Type Part-Time / Full-Time (depending on assignment availability) Virtual / Remote Monday – Friday Typical working hours between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM Schedule based on student class schedules and district assignments Hourly Pay: $20.00 – $25.00, depending on qualifications and experience. Probationary Period: 3 months Important Information Regarding Hours and Employment This position is offered on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on available student assignments and contracts with school districts. Because our services are provided through contracts with school districts and educational agencies, work hours are subject to change and depend on student needs, district assignments, and contract availability. Part-Time: Hours will vary depending on assigned students and available contracts. Part-time employees are not eligible for employee benefits.
