Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION INCLUDE: • Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and six months experience operating a school bus. • Valid California Class B Commercial Driver License with passenger and school bus endorsements. • California Special Driver's Certificate to drive School Bus for Type 1 school buses. • Valid medical certificate. • Valid First Aid Certificate or CHP equivalent certification. • Must be able to upgrade to Type 1, Air Brakes Endorsement if needed.

  • DMV Printout (a current and complete K-4 DMV report with the State of California seal (printed within 7 days of application). We will not accept internet printouts. Original K-4 will be required at time of hire.)
  • Driver's License Copy (Valid California Commercial Drivers license with passenger and school bus endorsements)
