MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO APPLY: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Any combination of training and/or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. • Previous experience driving a public transit or school bus, heavy duty truck or similar bus operation desirable. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: • Possession of valid California Driver's license. Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for coverage under the District's liability insurance carrier. • Possession of valid California school bus certificate with a Bus Passenger endorsement and valid medical certificate. • Possession of valid First Aid and CPR certification or pass California Highway Patrol test for the same. • Successfully pass drug and alcohol screening testing required by the Department of Transportation. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: • Proof of HS Graduation: Diploma or Equivalent (transcripts in lieu of certificate/diploma ok) • Two Letters of Recommendation (desired) • TO1 • Current K4 DMV print out less than 30 days old. • Current Class B California Driver’s License, valid School Bus Certificate with a Bus Passenger endorsement, and valid medical certificate. • Current First Aid and CPR certificate from an agency approved by the California Highway Patrol. Our District requires a complete application and that all materials to be considered as part of your application packet be submitted online with your application.
