Current 10th and 11th Graders (Incoming Seniors & Juniors and Non-Grads). Instructional Rotation schedule throughout the week at comprehensive high schools and Ortega High School. IN-PERSON LEARNING (Students 4 hrs/wk) – dependent on health guidelines IF health guidelines do not allow – full DISTANCE LEARNING - Dependent on enrollment SUMMER SCHOOL DATES: June 6, 2022 – JULY 14, 2022 (No School July 4) MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY – NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAYS – No Split Assignments TEACHER WORK HOURS: The teacher workday shall be 6 hours per day from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. with a thirty (30) minute duty free lunch. Teachers will be provided cell phones/laptop computers (if needed) so students may contact them during their work hours. Note: Teachers will receive one-hour prep time compensation for each 24 instructional hours worked. Mandatory Teacher Orientation (Date & Time TBD) via ZOOM. NOTE: [Edmentum (Plato) training scheduled last week of May (Date & Time TBD) via ZOOM. This training is for anyone who has not previously participated in the training.] OPENINGS: The number of positions available, specific courses, and continued summer school employment is contingent upon student enrollment. A rotation schedule will be provided at the mandatory teacher orientation.
