Basic & Skills Exams: By appointment Oral Exam: By appointment The position of Systems and Network Administrator II is for the purpose(s) of overseeing, delegating, managing network and server systems, and related software/hardware essential to the district’s network infrastructure and essential functions; collaborating and supporting interdepartmental curricular initiatives and systems; evaluating immediate and long term technology issues and solutions; assisting in the monitoring of network activity and equipment; documenting information and processes; resolving immediate network operational concerns; and supporting assigned workers in the performance of their assignments.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Cover Letter * Resume Experience: Job related experience within a specialized field is required. Education: Targeted, job related education with study in job-related area. Equivalency: Four-year degree in Computer Science or Engineering and/or equivalent experience. Minimum Three years hands-on experience in designing, configuring and implementing LAN/WAN solutions. Professional certifications or experiences: Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent. Five years computer related experience with increasing levels of responsibility in computer information systems, networking or server administration or any combination of experience and course-work. Google Admin experience is preferred.
