We are a Catholic School. Our mission is to empower and educate students to reach their full potential academically, spiritually and socially.. We are seeking a new 1st Grade Teacher to join our team. Your role will be to educate and care for the students in order to prepare them for both the next grade and to thrive in their overall life experiences.. As a member of the Primary department, you will work with the K and 2nd grade teachers, as well as the whole staff and report to our Principal. What You Will Do: Teach the first grade curriculum In all the core subjects including religion Collaborate and plan with staff on a weekly basis Collaborate with parents and families to support student success Plan daily lessons and assess students and give feedback on their progress Attend Weekly liturgy with your students Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all your students Create a positive and loving learning environment What You Will Bring: Our ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills: Bachelor's Degree California Teaching Credential Why You'll Love Us: We are the GEM of Malibu and are a staff that loves kids and will do whatever it takes to help students succeed.
